ZixDirect™

ZixDirect takes the business need for confidential data delivery and pairs it with the customer-friendly expediency of direct inbox delivery.

ZixDirect is a “push” delivery method for ZixGateway that expands on the proven security of ZixCorp Email Encryption Services to conveniently send encrypted email directly into a recipient’s inbox. With ZixDirect, the user does not need to have any encryption capabilities to read or reply to the message. There is no client software to install or maintain, and there is no need to visit a dedicated portal.

ZixDirect sends the encrypted message as an HTML attachment within a plaintext email. After the user clicks on the attachment and enters a password, the message is decrypted in his/her local Internet browser. Messages are stored encrypted, and the user can open and read them anytime.

ZixGateway customers can use ZixDirect in conjunction with ZixPort to create a robust environment that is capable of meeting the needs of all users. For message recipients served by their own ZixGateway service, the delivery remains transparent.
